Jesper Westergaard is an instrumental guitarist based in Sønderborg, Southern Denmark. Starting his musical career by playing local cafees and bars at age 15, he went on to study guitar at the royal academy of music, turning his passion into his profession. With his own material, he has performed at some of Denmark’s most reknowned venues including Train, Vega, Musikhuset Århus and Rust as well as music venues in the UK, Spain and Germany – both as a support act and with his former band, folk’n’roll duo My Secret Place.

As a singer and guitarist, Jesper Westergaard has released one album and three EPs of original material, getting airplay in Germany and in the UK.  However, more recently, he has returned to his first musical love – the guitar. With the Spanish guitar in the centre, he plays a mix of instrumental covers and original compositions, playing concerts and spreading feel-good acoustic music at various events.
